The Olive Groves
Lamapecora is a Puglian farmhouse surrounded by over 2,000 olive trees. We'll take you into the shade of the main varieties, where you can admire Puglia's true works of art: magnificent trunks born from the alchemy of expert pruning and the Mediterranean climate.
The Animals
The first farm settlements date back more than five centuries, and since then, domestic animals have been a key part of farm life. At Lamapecora, now as then, animals are part of our extended family, and as you enter the farmyard or cross the jazzo, you'll be welcomed by them too.

The Stable
Milking the dairy animals is a daily part of life on the farm. At Lamapecora, every visitor will be led into the ancient stables: here, after grazing in the Puglian sun or resting in the shade of the centuries-old olive trees, the cows give their precious milk.
The Milking
Lamapecora boasts approximately 20 hectares of land surrounding the Masseria, where, in full respect of nature, a flock of over 100 sheep grazes. As is tradition, the sheep are milked exclusively by hand every day.

The Art of Cheesemaking
At Masseria Lamapecora, the milk cycle is complete in just a few hundred meters. All the milk collected from the barn travels less than 200 meters before arriving at the Lamapecora artisan dairy. Here, it is entrusted to our master cheesemakers who will transform it into truly delicious delicacies.
Work Tools
Inside the buildings of Masseria Lamapecora, antique work tools and means of transport, such as carts and wagons, are preserved. Each piece is a small treasure from the past, steeped in history and tradition.
